BETA Backers Application Fall 2020
BETA, in partnership with Bremer Bank and Greater MSP, is currently seeking Minnesota based startups to participate in the next BETA Backers - an event that connects funders with top emerging Minnesota startups.

BETA Backers will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM CDT (though you may end up having a shorter time commitment, based on your meeting(s) schedule). The event will be held on Zoom.

Selection Process
1. Submit your application, pitch video, & company logo
2. Selected companies will be sent to investors, investors choose which companies to meet with at BETA Backers
3. Selected companies will receive invitation to meet with investors, startups have the opportunity to meet with up to four investors on Sept. 23

Applications will be accepted based on the life-stage of your startup, along with your ability to get the most of BETA Backers. We will receive more applications than we have room to accept. Completing this application does not guarantee access into Backers.

If you are interested in applying to pitch at the BETA Backers, please take a few minutes to answer the following questions. Due Date: Applications must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 8th.

We will let you know if your application has been accepted by Wednesday, Sept. 10th and your investor meeting schedule by Friday, Sept. 18th.

Pitch Video Link (3-5 min) *
Please include a download link to the original video file using a file sharing service like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. Do not use links to YouTube, Vimeo or other video sharing services. Video best practices: 1) film in landscape mode with a stable camera (i.e. don’t hold the camera), 2) film in a quiet space, and 3) face the camera away from any window/light source to avoid backlighting. If you are selected to participate, this pitch will be added to the video reel of startup pitches that the participating investors will receive to decide which startups they would like to meet with during Backers on 9/23.
